The indoor unit was strategically located in the ceiling space above the void, while the condenser was securely fitted on the front balcony wall using rubber feet for enhanced stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were carefully concealed within ductwork as they exited from the ceiling space.

To ensure efficient water drainage, two drainage systems were installed from the indoor unit and safety tray, leading to the external gutter. The installation included meticulous placement of ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors, and air plenums throughout the ceiling space, guaranteeing seamless integration with the indoor unit. A return air grille was positioned in the upstairs hallway to optimise the system’s airflow.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was established, extending from the switchboard to the outdoor unit, featuring an NHP isolation switch conveniently located next to the condenser. In the upstairs hallway, a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed, allowing for intuitive temperature control directly linked to the zone motors.

A dedicated electrical circuit was established from the switchboard to the outdoor condenser, which included an NHP isolation switch for enhanced safety. An Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe, ensuring efficient drainage. Upon completion, the system underwent rigorous commissioning to guarantee optimal performance.
